“I trust the people who BaptistCare send to my home. It’s unbelievable, we’re like a family,” Matteo smiles.
Matteo Russo currently lives happily with the support of BaptistCare’s Home Care services. Matteo has lived with his wife ever since the two tied the knot 62 years ago! The lovely couple have two adorable grandchildren and a caring family that often visits them.
Even with family that cares a lot about them, Matteo and his wife strongly agreed upon the fact that they “can’t use them as worker[s]”.
They knew they needed a little extra support around the house. That’s when Matteo discovered BaptistCare.
“I have no hesitation in saying: BaptistCare is the best.”
“One hundred percent, I recommend it to people.” Matteo said.

Matteo is on a level 2 package, whilst his wife is level 3. The packages are personalised and the two are well supported to live independently at home.
They receive services such as cleaning, gardening and general maintenance.
“The people who come in to do the job, they’re good,” Matteo expresses, “It’s one hundred percent secure for us.”
“When I called BaptistCare, they told me someone will visit me, and the one who came was Melissa.”
“Melissa is exceptional: for me, she’s almost like a daughter. She organises everything.”
