NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention
Baptcare is an NDIS Partner in the Community in Tasmania delivering Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI). We help children (aged 0-6) with disability and/or developmental delay, and their families/carers get the right supports they need, at the right time and for the right length of time, to enable them to live the life they want and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout life.
How to get support
If there are concerns about your child’s development, contact us on the number below.
What to expect
Your family will meet with an Early Childhood Coordinator experienced in early childhood intervention supports.
The Early Childhood Coordinator will:
- Work with you to determine the best supports for your child and family.
- Identify information, government and community supports that may be suitable for your child.
- Provide short-term intervention supports to you and your child to help you get on your way.
- If required, help you request NDIS access and once confirmed, work with your family to develop a plan. Once your child’s plan is approved you can choose the providers you wish to work with and the support begins.
We also work with communities to promote social inclusion and opportunities for people with a disability. We provide a range of workshops and information sessions about the NDIS too. If you would like us to provide such a session to a group, then fill in this form and return it to us at ECEITASMANIA@ndis.gov.au
