Stories of resilience, dignity and optimism: Baptcare Annual Report

Our latest Annual Report illustrates Baptcare’s mission in action and highlights the resilience, dignity, and optimism of the people we work alongside to support.

In the 75 years since our first residential aged care community was established, Baptcare’s aged care services have grown to include sixteen residential aged care communities as well as retirement living, and home care services, supporting more than 3,600 older Australians to age with dignity on their own terms.

The breadth of our service offerings now extends beyond aged care to provide family and community services, disability services, mental health services, social housing, and asylum seeker support, to people living in Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia. In the last financial year, approximately 3,300 committed staff and 1,100 passionate volunteers worked alongside over 18,250 people.

In this past year Baptcare staff and volunteers have embraced adaptability in response to the challenges of COVID-19, finding alternative and innovative ways to ensure we stayed connected with our residents, customers and clients, and working with them to prepare for and navigate what has been a difficult time for many.
