Applying for a role at BaptistCare:
  • Step 1

    Application

Once you’ve found the perfect opportunity for you, the first step is to complete your online application.

You’ll need to submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and what draws you to the role.

Our talent acquisition team carefully reviews every application and creates a shortlist of candidates whose skills and experience best match the position.

  • Step 2

    Interviews

If you’re shortlisted, we’ll invite you to participate in a phone or video call interview.

This is a chance for us to get to know you – your experience, your strengths, and what you’re looking for in your next role. It’s also your opportunity to ask questions and learn more about working at BaptistCare.

If you progress, you may be invited to a face-to-face interview. This conversation gives you a deeper understanding of the role and the organisation, while allowing you to share more about your experience and suitability.

  • Step 3

    Pre-employment checks

After your interview process, we’ll complete a few standard pre-employment checks. This includes contacting your nominated referees, so it’s important to provide relevant work references for care roles where possible.

As an aged care and family and community services provider, we’re required to complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC). If you’re on a VISA, we’ll also do a VEVO check. If you are applying for a care provider role, you may also need an assessment to ensure you can meet the physical requirements of the role. Some roles may also require a NDIS worker screening check.

  • Step 4

    If you’re successful, congratulations!

Got the job? Congratulations, we’re excited to welcome you! We’ll confirm your work conditions, salary and start date.

Once agreed, we’ll send you an official letter of offer. Simply log in to your applicant portal to accept your offer and you’re good to go! You can also track your progress and stay updated on your application through your online profile at any time.
