Family, youth & foster care
Services for youth, families and children in Tasmania
In Tasmania, we offer families with children aged to 18 years and people with disabilities aged to 65 years access to a centralised intake and assessment service called Baptcare Gateway.
This service is designed to assess your family support or disability service needs. Baptcare Gateway will effectively link you to the right support services, including referral into specialist family support and our disability support service.
We work in partnership with a group of family support providers to offer in-home family support and practical parenting assistance. We also work with young people who are at risk of homelessness or homeless and who are facing risk of statutory intervention.
Baptcare receives funding from the Department of Health Human Services to provide the Gateway Family and Disability Service.
