BaptistCare to welcome two NSW retirement villages from Presbyterian Aged Care

  • 14 May 2026
BaptistCare will soon welcome two new retirement villages in NSW following an agreement with Presbyterian Aged Care (PAC) to transfer the ownership and operation of Elouera village, in North Wollongong, and Park Linn Haven village, in Bowral.

The two villages, located in the Illawarra and Southern Highlands, together include 34 independent living units and serve small, closely‑knit communities.

BaptistCare will assume responsibility for the villages from 1 July 2026 and will work closely with PAC to ensure a smooth and respectful transition for residents and tenants. While no employees will transfer as part of the acquisition, the villages will be supported by BaptistCare’s experienced Retirement Living team, who are committed to helping residents feel informed and cared for throughout the change.

Charles Moore, CEO of BaptistCare, said he is looking forward to welcoming residents and tenants from both villages.

“We are pleased to welcome the Elouera and Park Linn Haven communities to BaptistCare,” Mr Moore said.

“As a national, purpose-led organisation, our focus is on supporting people to live well, and we look forward to getting to know residents and tenants and working alongside PAC to ensure a smooth transition.”

PAC Executive Chair Margaret Mackenzie said the agreement marks the final step in PAC’s planned exit from the aged care sector and reflects confidence in BaptistCare as a trusted provider.

“As PAC divests our last two remaining villages, we have taken great care in selecting an organisation that shares our values and commitment to supporting older Australians with dignity and respect,” Ms Mackenzie said.

“BaptistCare has an established relationship with PAC and a strong reputation for delivering quality care and services. We are confident residents and tenants will be well-supported through this transition.”

The agreement builds on a longstanding relationship between PAC and BaptistCare, following earlier transitions of Home Care services and retirement living communities, and reflects a shared commitment to dignity, respect and person-centred support.
