A place where you will feel at home

Baptcare Brookview Community is a residential aged care community for older people who need more care than they can receive at home. It is an inclusive community and we value every person. Residents can socialise at our regular activities and in our lovely shared areas. Or you can spend time in your own room, which is very spacious. We want our residents to feel respected and comfortable as soon as they enter our community, so that it truly feels like home.

Great design for easy living

Brookview is directly beside Broadmeadows Valley Park. There are lovely views of trees through the large windows and all of the rooms have lots of natural light. Residents’ rooms are in small groups that share dining rooms and lounge spaces. This makes it feel homely as you will see the same group of people regularly. And it makes it easy to get to meals from your room. There is also a ‘winter garden’ walkway that links parts of the community. It has a comfortable seating area, which is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.

Live the way you want

How you live your life at Brookview is up to you. If you want to join in with activities, there are always lots of games and exercises on offer. But if you would rather sit somewhere quiet or watch TV, you can do that instead. We even talk to our residents to find out what they want on the menu. And when it comes to little things, like if you want to sleep in one morning, our staff support those choices.

Modern design with a homely feel

Brookview is a modern, two-storey building with 90 private rooms. We can provide care for people who need all levels of care. As well as having your own room, you will also be able to spend time in our shared areas, which include:

Our chaplains also assist with prayer, worship, sacraments and other spiritual practices, including regular devotional and church services where appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if residential aged care is right for my family member?

A change in health, or increasing concern about your family member’s frailty, safety or isolation at home can mean that aged care accommodation is the next step.

Carers at aged care homes can help residents with day-to-day tasks (such as cleaning, cooking, laundry); personal care (such as dressing, grooming, going to the toilet); or 24-hour nursing care (such as wound care or catheter care).

Residential aged care can also help people to stay connected with interests and with others.

Baptcare draws on over 75 years’ experience in aged care as well as the skills and commitment of our trained, understanding staff. We’re here to support families during a transition that can be challenging.
