Update: Visiting Arrangements at Residential Aged Care Communities

At 11.59 pm Thursday 24 June, the Victorian Government announced that restrictions will change in relation to restrictions on visitors at residential aged care homes. This follows further easing of lockdown restrictions in the broader community.

From this point in time residents in all Victorian residential aged care homes are permitted:

  • two visitors at any one time
  • up to five visitors per day.

There is no limit on how long visitors can stay. There may be exemptions for people in exceptional circumstances, for example, end-of-life, in relation to the number of visitors allowed in one day. Our residents and families are invited to discuss any special circumstances that we may need to consider in relation to these restrictions.
