Charity golf day raises record breaking funds
On Friday 31 March, Baptcare held its annual CHT Architects’ Charity Golf Day. Now in its ninth year, the event supports our crucial work for people seeking asylum, in the hope to improve their quality of life.
Held at the prestigious Huntingdale Golf Club, more than 90 players took part, all vying for their chance to win the coveted Toyota vehicle on offer via the ‘hole in one’ competition. Despite the car not being won, the day proved to be a ‘winner’ with numerous businesses and individuals coming together, sponsoring and supporting this now iconic event and raising a record breaking $90,000.
Congratulations to the team from Data #3 who walked away as the winning team of the day.
We also thank our sponsors: principal sponsor CHT Architects; competition sponsors Andy Andersons Commercial Cleaning and Devco Project and Construction Management; breakfast sponsor One Fell Swoop; hole sponsors Clarke Hopkins Clarke, Moores Legal, Programmed Property Services, Telstra Business, Toyota, Data #3 and Cater Care; event supporters Taylors Development Strategists, Laundry Solutions Australia, Xchanging and Currie & Brown; plus those who provided prizes and/or volunteered their support on the day.
Thank you to all involved for making this such a unique and rewarding day.
