Westmeadows is a housing development in the Broadmeadows area which brings together residential aged care, retirement living, affordable housing and family services. While the Government is funding Baptcare to build the aged care precinct, we would like to create a ‘community hub’ to bring people from across the community together.

Transitional supported accommodation for asylum seekers living lawfully in the community - not government funded.
Once government funding is applied to accommodation, meals and basic services, there is little left over for new equipment or the lifestyle programs that make such a difference to the daily lives of older people living in our homes.
Community nursing for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness - receives no government funding.
While Government funding allows us to provide in-home care services, we receive no funding for the valuable lifestyle programs that provide activities that bring together people who receive aged care at home but may be experiencing social isolation.
