Baptcare provides NDIS Local Area Coordination
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is changing how disability services are provided to Australians with a significant and permanent disability. Baptcare is proud to be an NDIS Partner in the Community provider, delivering Local Area Coordination in Tasmania.
What does Local Area Coordination (LAC) involve?
Local Area Coordinators work with people who meet the NDIS access requirements, as well as referrer agencies and service providers. Put simply, we work with you to understand what is important to you and what you want to achieve from your NDIS plan. We also work with communities to promote social inclusion and opportunities for people with a disability. We provide a range of community outreach programs, workshops and information sessions. For more information on what’s happening in your area, visit and ‘like’ our Facebook page.
For more information about the NDIS and you, click on this link www.ndis.gov.au.
Our Partner in Community Program (LACs and ECEI services) that we run on behalf of the National Disability Insurance Agency only improve with your feedback. Information about how to provide feedback, complaints or advise if you think an incorrect decision about your plan has been made can be found here NDIS feedback.
