Children's Christmas activities in 2009

Baptcare’s 2009 Christmas activities were a great success, with approximately 400 people attending the children’s party at Moonee Valley Racecourse! The event also included the distribution of 500 donated toys, 30 hampers and 300 show bags. The event raised a total of $3755.20!

The vision of the Christmas activities was to provide all children in our care with the opportunity to attend a free and fun party, as well as to provide toys to children who might otherwise go without.

We received a lot of community support and would like to especially thank 4orward Consulting, White Pony, Gillian Coote Family Law, Moose, Crayola, Bunning's, Cadbury, City West Water, Carey Baptist Grammar, Strathcona Girls Baptist Grammar, Aberfeldie Baptist Church, North Balwyn Baptist Church, the Moonee Ponds ATO Social Club, Moonee Valley racecourse, Medirest, Bakers Delight and all the other community groups, organisations and individuals who responded to our call for support.

Thank you!
