Baptcare supports The Grand Plan

With the Federal Election less than a month away, time is running out for aged care organisations to influence our politicians to achieve real change for older people.

Baptcare is working together with Australia’s leading aged care organisations to give one powerful voice to a campaign to raise awareness for the need for better care for our grand older people. Known as The Grand Plan, the campaign is designed to gain traction with the politicians in Canberra irrespective of party lines.

We need your help to get aged care on the election agenda! By getting behind The Grand Plan, you will lend your voice to the call for an increase in support and funding that Australia’s rapidly ageing population needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your support for a new vision for the care of older Australians!

Supporting this vital cause is simple. Here’s what you can do:

Step 1: Visit www.thegrandplan.com.au and send an online postcard to an older person you think is grand and the campaign will automatically send their local MP a letter.

Step 2: Visit www.thegrandplan.com.au and send an email to the Federal Health and Ageing Ministers using the template available on the site.

Step 3: If you’re on Facebook or Twitter, search for The Grand Plan and ‘like it’ or ‘tweet it’.

We need as many people as possible to help generate an impact in Canberra.
