Workplace Giving Program
A good way of supporting Baptcare is by promoting the benefits of a Workplace Giving Program to your employees or colleagues.
Under this kind of program, employees can make a contribution (the amount being their choice) that can be automatically deducted from their pay on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, depending on the workplace and its payroll cycle.
A federal government initiative, Workplace Giving Australia has been developed to help corporations support their communities through increasing charitable donations by employees. A number of changes to payroll giving arrangements have meant that participating employees can now receive the tax benefits of their charitable donations immediately, without having to wait until the end of financial year or needing to keep receipts.
