At Strathalan, our Assisted Living Apartments have been designed and built specifically to cater for those who no longer want the burden of maintaining their own home.

A daily service fee is charged which covers:

  • weekly supply and laundering of linen and towels;
  • weekly housekeeping and cleaning;
  • all payments associated with gas, electricity, water and rates;
  • all maintenance to the grounds, gardens and common amenities;
  • staff and administration costs.

Strathalan Units

Strathalan Community was established over 60 years ago in Macleod. Set on 14 acres of leafy, gently sloping land, Strathalan is beautifully landscaped with wonderful views from many of the units. Our community is almost self-contained but the Macleod village shops are just a few minutes walk away for items not available in the resident-run kiosk or opportunity shop.

Moving into one of our 79 independent living units at Strathalan is a lifestyle decision. Our units are spacious and architecturally designed with all modern facilities incorporated in them.

We have a range of units including one bedroom units, two bedroom units (from 73 sq metres) and two bedrooms with a study (122.7 sq metres).
