Day Centres (Planned Activity Groups)
Baptcare's Day Centres provide out of home socialisation, respite and support opportunities for frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers.
Day Centres assist individuals in maintaining their independence and keeping their connections with the community through planned activities that are delivered in a way that sensitively acknowledges cultural and linguistic differences.
Admission to the program is dependant on an individual’s suitability for the type of program being operated which can vary markedly between day centres.
The fee payable is conditional upon the client’s eligibility for Home and Community Care (HACC) and other community care services.
