Baptcare has a wide range of services and programs that are designed to meet the needs of children, families and the aged within our community.

Family Services

Baptcare has focused on strengthening and supporting families and children since 1981. Today Baptcare's Family Services division specialises in disability services, home based care, family support and mental health programs.

Residential Aged Care Services

With over 60 years experience in residential aged care services, Baptcare is widely recognised in Victoria as a leader in the provision of high quality residential aged care facilities. Baptcare's residential facilities offer a variety of accommodation options including independent living units, respite care and high and low care to approximately 700 elderly Victorians.

Community Aged Care Services

Baptcare is the largest provider of Community Packages in Victoria. With over 40 years experience in Community Aged Care, Baptcare is committed to helping elderly Victorians extend their stay at home and to breathing life into the community

Low Cost Housing

Baptcare's low cost housing venture began in 1972 when land for the Boronia Units was provided by a member of the Boronia Baptist Church. In the mid 1990s, this service expanded when Baptcare formed a partnership with the Wangaratta Baptist Church and the Swan Court Units came into fruition.

Pastoral Care / Chaplaincy

Pastoral Care is an integral part of Baptcare's compassionate care and Christian ethos. It helps maintain optimal levels of dignity, comfort and support for all of Baptcare's residents and clients, their families and of course, Baptcare employees.

Sanctuary

Established in 2008, Sanctuary is a housing facility for male asylum seekers, run by Baptcare in partnership with Hotham Mission Asylum Seeker Project and Brunswick Baptist Church. Many asylum seekers have no right to work, Medicare or income assistance. Sanctuary provides asylum seekers with material and emotional support, and gives them the opportunity to be involved in their community.
