Cycle for Hope

On 16 November 2018, Graham Dangerfield and 14 cyclists took to the road in the inaugural Cycle for Hope event. They cycled an incredible 150km from Bendigo to our Brookview Community in Westmeadows, which covered parts of Sutton Grange, Hanging Rock and a steep climb up Mt Macedon.
At the finish line, the group were welcomed by Baptcare’s chairperson Robina Bradley, Baptcare staff and Brookview residents who were waving homemade banners and flags.
The event raised just over $25,000, all to benefit our areas of greatest need, including health and wellbeing programs for children in our care.
“Many of the children in our care don’t have access to sporting facilities and gyms. Even riding a bike is unattainable for them. With the money raised, we’d like to fund more wellbeing programs to support children in healthy development," said Graham.
