Baptcare recognises that for some individuals, raising a family can sometimes be challenging and complex, requiring extra support that’s practical, accessible and non-judgmental.
Our main interest is that each family who turns to Baptcare receives the support they need to succeed, and that most importantly, every child receives the right support in a nurturing, healthy and stable environment.
We assist children who are unable to live with their parents temporarily or on a longer term basis, to be placed in homes with approved family carers.
We work with young people who are at risk of homelessness or homeless and who are facing risk of statutory intervention.
We provide counselling and various support services to parents seeking to develop and enhance their parenting skills.
Under contract to government, we provide some specialist functions including centralised intake services, skilled assessment and case management.
